Sending High Priority Messages (Web Console)

Sending High-Priority Messages from the OnPage Enterprise Web Console

This document describes how to compose and dispatch a highpriority message to a target group from the OnPage enterprise web management console, and how to review message responses and audit trails.

Step 1: Open the Dispatcher and Message Composer

Navigate to the Dispatcher section in the OnPage enterprise web management console.

From the Dispatcher, go to Compose to open the message composer screen.

Step 2: Choose How to Create the Message

In the message composer, you can either type the message content manually or select a preconfigured template that automatically populates the key fields needed to send a highpriority message.

Step 3: Select the Recipient Group

Choose the recipient for your message. For this example, select the MRI Radiology group as the target group.

You can also review which members belong to this group by expanding the group details using the downward arrow.

Step 4: Apply a Template and Set Message Priority

Select a preconfigured template to automatically fill in standard fields, and then edit or fill out any remaining fields manually as needed.

Ensure you set the appropriate priority for the message by toggling between High Priority and Low Priority, based on your use case.

For this scenario, switch the priority back to High Priority before sending.

Step 5: Add Attachments and Send the Message

Attach any necessary files, such as images, PDFs, or scans, to the message. For this demo, attach a scan to accompany the highpriority message, then send the message from the composer.

The oncall MRI radiologist will receive the highpriority message on their OnPage mobile app and can respond directly from their device.

Step 6: Open and Review Message Responses

When a response is received, a notification sound will play. Click the notification to open the message thread and view the responses.

All message activity, including responses, is recorded as part of the audit trail associated with the message.

Step 7: View Delivery Details and Audit Trail

Return to All Messages, locate the relevant message, and click to View Delivery Details.

Review the full delivery information and audit trail, including timestamps and status updates, all captured within the system.
