Creating a New Message Template in OnPage

This document explains how to create a standardized message template in OnPage so your team can quickly send consistent, pre-populated messages without rewriting the same content each time.

Step 1: Open Settings and Access Templates

From the top menu in OnPage, click Settings.

In the Settings area, select Template to open the message templates section.

Step 2: Start Creating a New Template

Within the templates section, choose the option to Create a New Template.

Step 3: Name the Template Clearly

Enter a clear, descriptive name for your template so users can easily understand when to use it.

For example, you might name it Radiological Consultation Request.

Step 4: Configure Subject and Message Content

Set the Subject and Message body that should automatically appear whenever this template is selected.

For example, you can build an Urgent Radiologist Consultation Request template with all key fields (such as patient details, reason for consult, urgency, and contact information) pre-populated.

Step 5: Choose Mobile Sync and Save

Decide whether this template should sync to mobile devices so it appears in the OnPage mobile app for all relevant users. If you enable Sync to Mobile Devices, the template will be available on everyone’s phone app.

When all details are configured, click Save to create the template.

Step 6: Confirm Template Creation

Verify that your new Radiological Consultation Request template appears in the template list and is available for use.
