Sharing OnPage Schedules to Google and Outlook Calendars
This document explains how to share an OnPage Web Management Console schedule with another calendar or your personal calendar, using both Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar. You will copy a subscription URL from OnPage and then add it as an internet calendar in each platform.
Step 1: Open the Schedule Calendar in OnPage
From the OnPage Web Management Console dashboard, navigate to your team schedule.
- Click Schedules.
- Click the Calendar option.
- In the group selector, choose the group whose schedule you want to share. For this example, select the After Hours On-Call team group.
The page will populate with the schedule for the selected group.
Step 2: Copy the Calendar Share Link from OnPage
With the group schedule displayed:
- Click the option to Share the calendar.
This automatically copies the calendar URL to your clipboard. You can also manually copy or regenerate the link if needed. Keep this URL handy; you will use the same link for both Google Calendar and Outlook.
Step 3: Add the OnPage Schedule to Google Calendar
In Google Calendar:
- Go to the Other calendars section.
- Click Add other calendars.
- Select From URL.
- Paste the calendar URL you copied from OnPage into the URL field.
- Click Add calendar.
Google Calendar will automatically subscribe to and populate events from the OnPage schedule.
Step 4: Verify and View the OnPage Schedule in Google Calendar
To confirm the schedule is added:
- Go back to Settings in Google Calendar and locate the newly added calendar, which will display your After Hours On-Call schedule.
To focus on just this schedule:
- Uncheck your other calendars, for example uncheck the OnPage Marketing calendar.
Now you can easily view the After Hours On-Call schedule alongside or separate from your own calendar.
Step 5: Add the OnPage Schedule to Outlook Calendar
In Outlook Calendar (web interface):
- View your current calendar.
- Click Add calendar.
- Choose Subscribe from web.
- Paste the same OnPage calendar URL into the subscription URL field.
- Enter a Calendar name, for example: Demo Schedule.
- Select a color to help visually distinguish this schedule, and choose to add it under Other calendars.
- Click Import (or the equivalent confirmation button).
Outlook will import and display the schedule, and a confirmation such as “Successfully imported Demo Schedule” will appear.
Step 6: Adjust the View and Compare Schedules in Outlook
After importing:
- Close the confirmation dialog.
Outlook may initially show the new calendar in a split view on the right-hand side.
- To merge the views, uncheck or disable the split view option.
You will now see your After Hours On-Call schedule merged with your personal calendar in the monthly view. To compare or isolate schedules:
- Uncheck your personal calendar to view only the OnPage schedule.
You can toggle calendars on or off as needed to see how schedules change and overlap.
