Members

Overview

The Members section in BlastIT allows users to manage individuals eligible to receive mass messages. Members can be created, imported, exported, invited, and assigned to departments.

Accessing the Members Section

To access the Members section:

  1. Navigate to BlastIT.
  2. Click on the Members tab in the top navigation menu.

Features

1. Creating a New Member

To manually create a member:

  1. Click the Create Member button.
  2. Fill in the required fields:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email
    • Phone Number (for call)
    • Mobile Number (for SMS)
    • Address (Country, State, City, Street, ZIP)
    • Departments (Optional)
  3. Click Save to add the member.

2. Importing Members

To bulk import members using a CSV file:

  1. Click Import Members.
  2. Follow the three-step process:
    • Upload: Choose a CSV file containing member data.
    • Review: Verify the data before importing.
    • Import: Complete the process.
  3. The CSV file must include the following columns:
    • First Name (required)
    • Last Name (required)
    • Email Address (required)
    • Secondary Email (optional)
    • Phone Number (for call)
    • Mobile Number (for SMS)
    • Departments (delimited by ;)
  4. Download the CSV template for formatting guidance.

3. Exporting Members

To export the current member list:

  1. Click Export Members.
  2. The system will generate a CSV file containing all members.

4. Inviting Members

To allow members to self-register:

  1. Click Invite Members.
  2. Copy the self-registration link provided.
  3. Share the link with individuals to enable them to register or update their details.

5. Editing or Deleting a Member

  • Click the Edit button next to a member to modify details.
  • Click the Delete button to remove a member from the system.
  • To bulk delete, select multiple members and click Delete.

Additional Information

  • Members can be assigned to multiple departments.
  • The search bar allows users to filter members by name or email.
  • The Items per page dropdown allows users to adjust the number of displayed members.
