Overview
The Compose section of BlastIT allows users to create and send messages through multiple delivery methods, including Primary Email, Secondary Email, SMS, and Phone Calls. This section provides a user-friendly interface for crafting messages, selecting recipients, and determining the preferred delivery method.
Delivery Methods
BlastIT supports the following delivery methods:

| Primary Email | Sends the message to the recipient’s main email address. |
| Secondary Email | Sends the message to an alternative email address for the recipient. |
| SMS | Sends a text message to the recipient’s mobile phone number. |
| Phone Call | Delivers the message through an automated voice call to the recipient. |
Compose Message Fields
The Compose Message section includes the following fields:
| Field Name | Description |
| Subject | Used for more than just emails. It helps track the message in the Sent Messages area for analytics. |
| Message Body | The main content of the message. Can include text and formatting options. |
| Recipient Selection | Allows users to choose recipients using a combination of Members and Departments. If a recipient is selected multiple times, they will only receive the message once. |
| Delivery Method | Choose between Primary Email, Secondary Email, SMS, or Phone Call for sending the message. |
| Reply Options | Provides links in the message that recipients can select to quickly respond. Useful for gathering responses, such as determining if a group needs assistance. |
| Acknowledge Link | A built-in link automatically included in every message that allows recipients to confirm receipt. |
| Send Button | Confirms and sends the message immediately using the selected delivery method(s). |
Sending a Message
To send a message using BlastIT, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Compose Message section.
- Enter the Subject to help track the message.
- Type the message in the Message Body field.
- Select recipients using Members and Departments.
- Choose the preferred Delivery Method.
- (Optional) Add Reply Options if needed.
- Click Send to deliver the message immediately.
